We have been learning about fractions of a set and how to create pictures using fractions. This is a work in progress but it is getting easier. 

Render forest

We have been learning how to create animations using Render forest. I really enjoyed being able to choose my slides. We are going to learn how to use different parts of Render forest. Watch this space! 

Amazon rain forest fires

We have been doing lots of information gathering about the fires burning in Amazon Rain forest. Once we gathering the information we learnt how to create a piece of opinion writing. It was really good to be able to explain how I felt.

Switch zoo

This is my switch zoo animal that we have created on an app. It is a descriptive piece of writing using lots of adjectives.

Alien angles

We have been learning our angles on this game, it tells you to create an angle. There are right angles, acute and obtuse angles. The game is called Alien Angles. This is my best score.

3D toothpics

In pangarau we have been learning about 3D shapes and how to make them. We used blue tac and toothpicks to create our shapes. I made a pyramid and a cube.

For our writing this term we are learning how to create poems / rotarota or creative paragraphs. We get a new hook each day. Here are some of my pieces of writing. We are especially focusing on imagery and using our senses.
